Welcome all Tarot Enthusiasts, Readers and Querents alike! I’m Jeannette, a Certified Professional Tarot Reader. I’m humbly honored for the opportunity to offer some measure of guidance on your Journey, both using and receiving the Spiritual and timeless Wisdom of the Tarot. I plan for this blog to encompass all things, Tarot, such as, reading tips and tutorials, spreads, deck and book reviews, and more.
Why Tarot?
Tarot is a topic I’m been very passionate about and have studied, practiced, and taught for a very long time. I find Tarot to be mystical, awe inspiring, Spiritual, as well as, practically useful, all at the same time. Tarot can help Querents navigate the Earth Plane, like an efficient and uncannily accurate GPS, showing where they have been, are now, and are likely headed, regarding the situation they have inquired about.
Tarot, as a Spiritual tool, has for centuries helped Querents to avoid their pitfalls, while aiding them in creating their best life by guiding them in achieving their personal goals, unveiling their individual gifts, and ultimately living in alignment with their Life’s Purpose.
Why a Tarot Blog Now?
Although, reading Tarot cards has its roots back in 15th century Europe, it is now experiencing a renaissance in popularity. There are many Tarot blogs, podcasts, and social media groups to enjoy.
Furthermore, in addition to the classic Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot decks, today there is an explosion of modern style Tarot decks available in bookstores and new age shops, and on Amazon.com, Etsy.com, and deck creators’ websites. Many Tarot readers collect Tarot decks for their individual energy, and beauty of artwork, I included.
My motivation for creating a Tarot Blog now, is not only due to Tarot’s current popularity, but also due to a strong inner guidance to outwardly express my passion for Tarot and share the gems I’ve discovered about the topic along my own Tarot Journey.
I’m long overdue to give Tarot reading the place of honor and importance it has and continues to hold in my life and work. I hope to contribute to the movement currently afoot to making Tarot as acceptable a conversational topic as yoga, or meditation. I sincerely hope you will find my Tarot musings, tutorials, and tips interesting as well as helpful on your own Tarot Journey.
